DESCRIPTION:We’re trying something new this month by combining Distribution Prep and Monthly Distribution into one day! Feel free to sign up for a volunteer shift that works best for you. \nWe kindly ask that you sign up for just one time slot.  Register Here. \nFor safety reasons\, volunteers must be at least 14 years old to serve during Distribution. However\, younger volunteers are welcome to serve during Distribution Prep. \nFeed Sumner Food Bank and Ministry \n1121 Gregory Drive \nGallatin\, TN 37066 \n615-348-4470 \nDistribution Prep Volunteer Times: 8 AM to 10 AM \nMonthly Distribution Volunteer Times: 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM \nActual Distribution: 9 AM to 12:00 PM \nDistribution Prep \nVolunteers will be responsible for packing food for the monthly distribution. This involves meat\, chips\, and more! \nMonthly Distribution \nOur monthly distribution is the best day of the month! We have several volunteer roles to help make our monthly distribution run smoothly. \nLoaders are needed to help load food boxes\, making this a great fit for those who enjoy being active and working outdoors. For safety\, volunteers in this role will wear reflective vests and must be able to lift a 30-lb box. \nTraffic Direction volunteers help direct vehicles and keep traffic moving smoothly and safely through our parking lot and surrounding streets. This role requires wearing a reflective vest and being comfortable giving clear\, friendly directions to drivers. \nHospitality volunteers are perfect for those who love meeting new people and striking up conversations. They will engage with guests and hand out extra goodies\, helping create a warm and welcoming experience for everyone. \nRegistration volunteers will be paired with a member of our registration team to learn the role hands-on.
